Rec Center Information
The Rec Center has free WiFi! Bring your laptop, tablet, and mobile device and check it out! You will need to connect, then open a browser and accept the terms and conditions before you will be allowed to browse the internet. Please be considerate and responsible when connected.
The Rec Center Office has a mail slot! Please be sure to use this instead of placing items under the door to ensure they are received! You can turn in checks for quarterly dues, lost and found items, suggestion forms, etc. Please remember that the mail slot is under surveillance so any misuse or inappropriate behavior will be captured on video. Please be respectful.
The Rec Center is open daily from 5:00am to 10:00pm.
Swimming in the summer is from 9:00am – 9:45pm; except for the adult lap pool which opens at 5:00 am. Swimming lessons are currently not offered.
All Columbia Village homeowners and renters are able to use the Rec Center at no extra charge. All you need to do is bring down a utility bill with your current address on it and a drivers license to the Rec Center during office hours.
ATTENTION RENTERS: In order to get a key card, along with the information mentioned above, the homeowner of the rental MUST fill out a KEY CARD PERMISSION FORM. We can not issue you a card until we have permission from the homeowner for the renter to use the Rec Center. We will issue you a key card to access the Rec Center after acceptable forms are brought in.
If current owner has an active card and that card is not turned in or brought in by the renter, then there will be a $30.00 charge.
Any extra or replacement cards are $30.00. Reactivation fee for cards suspended for non-payment of HOA dues is also $30.00. We can accept credit or debit cards (processing fee applies) and checks. We do not accept cash.
The Common Area
The reading area is for everyone to use.
You cannot have parties or events in the reading area at any time.
You can borrow a book to take home and read providing that you return the book when finished.
Kids can play with the toys in the reading room providing that they keep all the toys in that area and that the toys are all picked up when done.
Pioneer Room Rental Information
Columbia Village Owners and Tenants in good standing have the right and privilege to reserve the
Recreation Center Pioneer room located at 3655 E. Lake Forest Drive, Boise, ID 83716. The Member renting the Pioneer room accepts responsibility for the rental, must attend the entire event, and abide by the Association Rules. Any homeowner who violates this agreement or fails to comply to the cleaning policies herein may result in loss of privilege to reserve the multi-purpose room. Columbia Village Owner's Association (“CVOA”) Board reserves the right to modify this rental application at any time.
Exercise/Weight Room Information
No children under the age of 16 allowed in the exercise room without adult supervision. Children under the age of 16 must remain off all gym equipment.
After you use a machine/equipment please wipe it down with the cleaner and paper towels available in the exercise room. It is also a good idea to wipe down a machine/equipment before using it to help pre-vent the spread of germs.
Any miss use of any equipment that results in damage will be billed to the home owner that caused the damage.
Misusing the equipment may also result in a suspension from the Rec Center Facility.
Water is the only beverage that is allowed in the exercise room.
Toys are not allowed in the exercise room under any circumstance.
Please limit your time on machines/equipment to no more than 45 minutes per person.
CVOA Swimming Pools
The pools are open!
The pools are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The Lap pool is only for laps and any one not doing laps will be asked to get out of the lap pool.
The Mushroom pool is only for kids and their parents.
The Water fall pool and the Rectangle pool are for everyone to use.
No jumping off the water fall, No diving, Running or Horse play is allowed for safety reasons.
All food and beverages must be contained to the table areas only. Food or beverage is not permitted in the pools at any time.
Only proper swimming attire is allowed in the pools. No cut-off jeans, regular street clothes or shoes are permitted.
No alcohol or smoking is allowed anywhere in the rec center or pool area.
Glass containers of any kind are not permitted in the pool area.
You may bring 2 guests with you to the pool or Rec Center and that does not include kids.
CVOA Tennis Courts
You will need your key card in order to access the Tennis court.
We ask that you limit your time to 60 minutes for singles and 90 minutes for doubles.
No Roller blades, Roller Skates, Bikes, skate boards or any other type of apparatus are allowed on the tennis court.
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied be an adult.
